My husband and I moved into one of the studio apparments in March 07. Our first impression of the place was a good one. It seemed nice and after all it was a gated community but as soon as we signed the papers we realized the staff was....very poorly trained. After living there a few months we started to hate it. Our air conditioner stopped working in August and everyone should know, August is not a nice month to lose your A/C during. We called for them to fix it, not only did it take about 3 days for them to come, they didn't even do the job, so for about two weeks our apartment was unbearably hot. We went in to pay our rent and they said they would take the two weeks off of our next payment... well came time to pay it and they said they had no documentation that one we never called and two they had never been there. As if that wasn't bad enough they kept trying to over charge us rent and say we hadn't paid them even though i always paid early every single month. My husband even had to talk to their corprate office and was told we own them nothing. A few days letter we got another letter saying that we owed them money. The staff was very rude and unhelpful and down right offensive. And as if that weren't bad enough the place was crawling with druggys and drug dealers and rapists. While i lived there i know of at least 2 dead bodies being found and multiple rapes. My sterio was stolen out of my car. We felt safer parking outside the gates then actually inside. My advice to anyone considering this place is that even though it's cheap, it's not worth the head aches and stress this place will cause you.
