Positive Apartment Reviews and Ratings
A good place overall, but keep certain things in m ( over a year ago )

Overall, a decent place, but avoid the apts west of the office that face 89th St. These apts have too much traffic noise & are quite drafty during the winter due to facing north w/out anything to block the wind. Security, grounds, & maintenance are great, especially compared to the hellhole across the street, Cambridge Landing. Since you pay electric, mgmt doesn't care if appliances are old & inefficient, as long as they still work. If they put new carpet in before you move in, they may spring a new carpet form on you the day you move in--don't sign it. The lease already covers damages above the deposit, so the form is not needed, & since you already have a lease, you don't have to sign it to move in. Don't be intimidated into signing it. No problems so far with noisy neighbors, visitors, or trespassers. The management & ownership have been the same for a long time compared to most apartment complexes. Not quite as nice as its neat appearance would lead you to believe, but a good place overall. <P>
