Apartment Review for The Park At Coffee Creek

This place is not worth living. The apartments are OK but the maintenace crew is lazy and doesn't take care of jobs (had a ceiling cave in and continue leaking and took a lot of effort just to get someone up to look at it. The contractor who built this complex made a lot of cuts and just wanted to get the place built in time for it to open and it shows with a lot of defects all over the complex and main offiec building. Rent was raised over 10% in the first year. The two main gates to the complex were both broken and it took over a month (closer to two months)to fix. I recieved a voicemail from the main office one day saying that the late fee date on the rent had been extended due to a holiday, then when I went to pay my rent that same day, the manager demanded that I pay the late fee even though her voicemail said it had been waived due to the holiday. The worst part about this complex (and I assume all Case and Associates properties) is that they try and nickel and dime the tenants after they move out for costs to repair the unit. Pets are allowed at this complex and there is a $300 pet deposit, come to find out, that deposit means nothing. My dog urinated on the carpet a few times and they are demanding I pay around $900 to recarpet the entire unit. The carpet is cheap shag carpet and wears really easy, and I saw a few other units with pets and my carpet was in great condition compared to these other units. They cater to their own employees (noise, fees, response to maintenance issues, and anything else that comes up). The most disturbing thing is that when me and my girlfriend moved out we forgot some of our cookware (brand new expensive Emeril cookware) and a bag full of custom Ed Hardy Koozies. When we returned to get the stuff, only the cheap already used cooking pans and the Coffee Creek koozies were there, pretty obvious that the housekeeping lady found the good stuff and stole it before we could get back there and get it back. The complex of course is denying all of this. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!
