AR Score: 79
These apartments have nice grounds, a playground and my favorite~ a fireplace. Outdoor and indoor ambiance both! Management is not at all like reviewed, they respond well to concerns. Wood Creek Apartments are affordable considering the fireplace feature in particular. My suggestion? Before you rent , visit the place several different times of day and weekend vs. weekday. That way you know exactly how the community is at different times.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

These are good size units with nice grounds and a good-size pool. Heritage Apartments management has been on the ball when they know there is a problem like people who do not live in the apartment complex using the pool. They encourage use of the answering service to be sure security gets taken care of. Being close to the freeway isn't a problem. The way Heritage Apartments are built keeps noise down.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

Bedrooms: 1 - 3

Gable Hills is a moderate sized complex with 1 to 3 bedrooms available. The place isn't so huge you feel like you could get lost, just the right size so you can get to know your neighbors. There is a nice buffer of trees between the expressway and the complex so you don't hear traffic noises. For me the price is just right...good size for the money.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

Because these apartments are brand new they have the kind of features people want. The living space is open and the hardwood floors give it a warm, contemporary feel. The gate adds security and so do the garages if you want one. Large employers are nearby. The Springs at East Fifty-First has plenty to offer dog owners-its own fenced in dog park for off-leash playing. There is a pool and clubhouse and a "click cafe" for internet.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

$504
AR Score: 77
Edgewood At The Gables is a good place. The apartment size is smaller but with big features like walk-in closets. It makes it feel like a much larger space than it is. Washer and dryer hook-ups are in unit and everything in some units is wheel chair access, needed for mother. Edgewood at The Gables has pretty landscaping too, with views of downtown. Pets are allowed but with some restrictions so check with management about your cat or dog.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

9320 South College Avenue
Tulsa, OK 74137
Bedrooms: 1 - 2
Baths: 1 - 2
$730
AR Score: 77
Reviews are mixed when it comes to Lakewood Condominiums. Two tenants in 2012 raved about the friendly staff, spacious units, and low noise level. However, one reviewer in 2011 was frustrated with the high utility costs and discrepancies in rent prices. Though resident experiences vary, many love living right on S. College Avenue. Tenants won’t go hungry with Subway, Domino’s, Outback Steakhouse, and Red Robin in the neighborhood, plus the Grand Health & Racquet Club is down the street to burn off those calories.Orangearrow Read all reviews...

Tulsa has a population of over 450,000 people but apartments in Tulsa are not hard to find. There are many available Tulsa apartments for rent even now as you read this article. So many that would put you in a mind boggling stupor if you were to physically go and see each apartment. Thankfully many of the Tulsa apt listing online services provide you with pictures as well as floor plans of the buildings both inside and outside. But before you start looking at those pictures let me tell you what areas are best to look in.

For single business professionals or couples without children who are also business professionals, downtown is the ideal place to find Tulsa apartments. It gives you proximity to your workplace and so commute will never be an issue. The apartments here are mostly in the loft style which means big and open rooms with little or no compartmentalization.

The next place you can find great Tulsa apartments for rent is Midtown, where you will also find The University of Tulsa. In this area, you will find many shopping centers. It is ideal for college professors or students as well as other University Staff. That doesn’t mean that you can’t live there if you don’t fall under any of these categories though.

If you prefer the suburbs, you can find Tulsa apartments in the southern half of the city. Here you can also find homes and country clubs. This suburb is one of the most well known because of the Woodland Hills Mall. This mall is known because of its size; it is one of the largest malls in the entire state of Oklahoma. It is just a short ride from the University of Tulsa so is ideal for persons who work or attend as students.

If you want apartments in Tulsa that are ideal for families, West Tulsa is the place to look. Here you will find parks as well as wilderness reserves. So if you like nature or just prefer to spend your free time outdoors where the air is cleaner, this is also an ideal place for you to live. In North Tulsa you will find the zoo and Mohawk Park. Mohawk Park is one of the largest and as such it is an attraction for both residents and tourists alike. North Tulsa is a very business oriented neighborhood and is a great place to find Tulsa apartments if you don’t want a home feel in the neighborhood you reside.

If you want your kids to grow up in a racially diverse area you can look for Tulsa apartments east of highway 169. Here you will find mostly Mexican and Asian residents but there is a good mix of other races as well.

Finding apartments in Tulsa in the best neighborhoods is as easy as narrowing down the best of the best.
