From mold to mildew, dripping, leaking, and flooding, fire hazards, fatal stabbings, armed robbery, bugs galore, non-working pools to tease you with, management and an after-hours call center who will both hang up on you, maintenance people who will enter your apartment and leave without notification (this is illegal by the way), thugs every night hanging out in the parking lot, drunks peeing and vomiting from their balconies, and more.
London Square, a LynCo property, is one of the most degrading neglected properties that I have ever seen. With the air conditioning going out several times each summer, it's a wonder people don't riot. If you want to deduct the rent for the time you were out of air (which the Landlord is in violation of the Landlord Tenant Act of Oklahoma), it is almost like pulling teeth. And what more, London Square actually made the news on TWO DIFFERENT STATIONS this summer for the negligence it took in repairing the air conditioning. If you have a problem, or something breaks, forget about it being fixed any time soon. I know many horror stories of simple repairs taking MONTHS to get fixed. Noone should have to plead or pester their Leasing Staff to get necessary repairs to their apartment they are paying rent for. An apartment complex should put the well being and happiness of their residents FIRST, not LAST, I don't even know if it is ANYWHERE on LynCo's list whatsoever. The Vice President of LynCo Inc., Gary Goss, could care less about tenants. He is interested in money, and one might think that in order to make money, you have to provide good service, a good product, in this case a safe well-maintained complex, both of which London Square IS NOT!!
No credit check necessary, no background check,no standards whatsoever, if you have had 6 felonies, sell crack, beat your wife, or all of the above, here is the place to call home. Management is not competent enough to understand what it means to keep "good" residents and weed out the "bad" ones. They are only concerned with filling empty apartments, and the turnover rate here shows it. I live in a "relatively" inactive, and somewhat quiet building, so most of these things I am warning you about, you may or may not come into contact with. Please, for your sake, choose another property to give your money to, and make sure they are NOT owned by LynCo Inc. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
