When my then-fiance [now husband] and I first came to look at London Square, the management was helpful, friendly and very honest. By the time we had moved in three months later...a new management company had come into play. Unannounced visits by the "maintenance," utter lack of credit checks on tenants, pools that were never opened and as a matter of fact, shut down by Tulsa County Health Department, rowdy neighbors that looked like rejects from Hee-Haw and the occasional drug dealer or sex offender were just the minor things wrong with the place.
Next door, in one of the "less active" buildings, our 80 year old neighbor woman was stabbed to death in her apartment. Another woman, in the building next to us, was raped.
Our lease would be up in November, but we decided to break the lease and buy a house for less than what we'd pay in rent at London Square each month.
