Apartment Review for Avondale Apartments

Worst maintenance ever! Leaving as soon as lease is up. They will not fix something unless they consider it an emergency. The flaming homosexual maintenance man makes you feel uncomfortable, to say the least, to let him come in to fix something when they DO come. The grounds are poorly kept and dog droppings are everywhere because no one is required to clean up after their animals. This place is far more ghetto than you might initially think. The office managers are rude, with the exception of a few. If you are late on rent by five days they won't just fine you, but will immediately try to evict you, regardless of your reason. They have a pool that is almost always closed because of vandalism. Also many cars and apartments get vandalized and vehicles stolen. The apartment appears in the news too often for comfort because of all too common murders and drug busts. The crime in the area is actually pretty bad, considering it's south Tulsa. Just get use to the sound of police helicopters if you move here. I tried to change apartments because mine was so run down and was shown ones with old dirty carpets and roaches! A nightmare and not even worth saving a few bucks. Do NOT come here unless you are insane, but I guess then you will have lots of insane neighbors to keep you company.
