Apartment Review for Magnolia Manor Apartments

These are probably the best apartments in the area that they are in. Reasonably priced for what you get, maybe even a little better than average. The apartments are clean, spacious, and you can rarely beat 'all bills paid'. There is a family YMCA and a large park nearby. The new owners have been quick to fix up the place, though they are much faster at fixing up empty apartments for renting than maintaining apartments people already live in.

However, that said, the area has been turning into sort of ghetto, most likely due to many of the area's apartments having Section 8 housing and crime is minimal, but it is there. I've lived here for about four years now, and I've had my car broken into and radio stolen, and more recently (within a week ago), my apartment was broken into. Only a few expensive items were taken from the living room and nobody hurt, but there's that. The communal laundry machines are often broken because people steal from them and there has been a few incidences of arson, broken windows, and a few other break-ins over the last year or so.
