Farmington Ghetto! ( over a year ago )

Low income HUD apartments. Management is corrupt and property is bankrupt! Forms are whited out, lost and fabricated to suit their purposes.
Manager and her spouse are confrontational and verbally abusive to residents. Managers spouse innapropriately stares at female residents.
Children are barely tolerated at this property and constantly written violations for normal play.
Residents are excessively micro managed. Manager intrudes into personal matters that are not her business.
Non english speakers have been evicted by police, being dragged out of the apt while managment and residents watched. No translators were provided. Management proceeded to sell their household items at a garage sale.
Families in need have been evicted without cause. One single mother is being evicted because of a chair on her patio. Another single mother is moving to retreat from the excessive verbal abuse and harassment she has recieved from management.
Management has illegally dumped excessive garbage on public land. Septic system repeatedly breaks from lack of proper upkeep, causing live sewage to flow on the ground.
Condition of apartments: Walls crumbling and thin, mold...lots of it. Units are small, no frills. Grounds have nice trees. Parking is abundant but inconviently located far away from apt.
It is a disservice to taxpayers to federally fund this type of dehumanizing treatment in continually reoccuring potentially hazardous conditions (raw sewage and dumping).
Apartments are subsidized by the federal government beyond their actual market value. Someone is profiting from this scheme, and it is not the residents.

Upside: Lots of space to roam. Walking trails and nature park close by. Fenced grounds. Helpful maintenance and manager. Nice neighbors. Reduced rent apartments HUD. Garden spots available.
Downside: Square footage is extremely small and quoted market rate is inflated about $300 over actual value. Apartments are tiny, basic no frills. Old buildings, Mold!
Rent is based on income. If you are VERY low income then it is worth living here.
