Review for Duck's Village Apartments

The good: The apartments here are fairly nice. They are newer than the ones closer to campus and most everything works in them. The hot tub is fine and the computer center is nice for printing stuff off.

The bad: They are a ways from campus. The pool is closed for all but 2 months during the school year.

The terrible: They have a major problem with theft. I had stuff stolen over winter break when I was gone during the day, and the only people that were in the apartment were maintenance guys. When I brought this to their attention they told me that I must have lost it and told me to contact the police. They were very rude and completely unconcerned. Then a couple weeks later they lost a master key to the whole place and had 10 unforced break-ins where a guy just unlocked the place and took what he liked. They quietly changed the locks but did not tell the residents or any one else what had happened. They never offered any form of compensation for their mistake and never tried to find the culprit.

Overall the place is nice but the management is atrocious.
