Review for Forest Hills Apartments

The location and fact that they accept larger dogs is nice, however management is poor. The issues I have had here include difficulty obtaining maintenance. Within the first 2 months, the smoke detector batteries needed to be replaced. It took several requests to have management replace these over 2 weeks later. I have also made requests, and however have not been able to have my window (which won't close properly, which is most noticeable during winter), my stove (two burners will heat up when another burner is being used), and my mail box (jamming) fixed, as they cannot guarentee any set date or time to fix these problems even with a work request. You have to work around their schedule, which can be difficult with kids and pets, as maintenance can show up without notice. Mold grows fast in these apartments too. If your neighbors smoke, you essentially smoke too. They water the grounds so much that the grounds are saturated and in places they cannot mow in the summer. Overall, this is not a good place, and it is over priced. Management is not effective or friendly, and the maintenance guy tends to be rude and can be aggressive.
