Review for The Merrick Apartments

This building is billed as a "luxury" building. It is far from it. Sure the apartments are more modern, and in some cases you get great views of the city, but let me tell you about the other side: Security and safety: Terrible.. though no one expects 100% safety, there are no security cameras, the doors are consistently open despite MANY complaints to management staff, the management staff is on defensive and always evoking the tramwell crow line of we don't have any responsibility, there is some sort of crime virtuall EVERY week,which management absolves itself by sending notice around,

I talk to alot of people in the building, and renewing is a big joke word in the context of this building. Its a shame as it could really be distinctive. Problem is that to petty thieves, distinctive means easy access. It really is a matter of time, based on current trends, when it will be a much more serious adverse event which will trigger acknowledgment of this profiteering, negligent attitude at being responsive and responsible for more than providing mediocre customer service and maintenance. With the many options now available, look elswehee and spare yourself the grief and frankly paranoia.
