Review for The Merrick Apartments

Nice building, but lots of problems. They have parking in the garage, but not enough for every tennant (parking is $50.00 a month). They are constanly making garage repairs which means everyone has to move their cars to the street for the day. A hassle if you are at work and can't feed the meter. The biggest problem is crime. This "secure building" is a joke. The lobby doors don't lock half the time, garage doors stay open. Hardly a week goes by without something getting stolen. I hear horror stories all the time. Meetings with management get nowhere - they just have an attitude that if you move, it is easy to rent to someone else. Since it is next to convention center and parking meters run until 10:00pm, it is hard for guests to come visit. I haven't talked to anyone who plans to renew their lease.
