Apartments are oversized (1300+ sq ft). Many have a W/D in apartment.

Apartments themselves are a little bit older. (My ceiling was leaking at one point during a rain storm, but was fixed fairly quickly)
Windows are single pane and do not inulate at all. Difficult to heat apartments efficiently
