This is a terrific place to live. Located close to the streetcars and the bus mall you can be anywhere in Portland in a very short time. You don’t need a car to live here. Safeway is an elevator stop away. The building is beautifully maintained by courteous and efficient staff. You couldn t ask for better management; they are polite, caring and they will bend over backwards to help you and your friends. I am very happy living here since August 2007. The party walls unfortunately are not insulated for noise so you will hear cabinets being closed and faucets running in the kitchen and bathrooms but who cares about that? It s not like it’s a constant annoying noise. I have heard my neighbor on the telephone but I can t make out any words, only laughter at times. There is a 10:30 pm curfew on loud noise but I have never needed to complain. The insulated windows keep out the street noise and cold air which is great. Unless you need to live in a tomb or you party late into the night this place is good for you.
