Review for Westfall Apartments

I moved into a 1 bedroom in the Westfal in February of '09, they said my apartment was reciently remodeled and it looked nice. However, for some reason I thought there was a little more storage space than there is. Literally, I had to keep all my bathroom toiletries in a milk crate under the sink and the closet provides one little shelf to store things on. That was my fault for overlooking it though. What really got to me about the Westfal was the mold that started growing on my apartment walls less than 3 months after I moved in. When I mentioned the mold issue to maintance they told me to spray bleach on my walls to clean them, which I did but the mold kept growing back. It was worst around the windowsills and along the bottom of the molding around the room. Finally after sending pictures of the mold to the manager they told me I needed to move so they could repair the seal around the windows which apparently was letting moisture out. They never offered to help me with moving expenses or anything. Also, the noise in the building is really bad. You can overhear neighbors quiet conversations just walking by their doors. The last night I lived there a neighbor across the hall got in a fight with his boyfriend and the police were called. Classy place.
