Can be noisy on the weekends but it's nice ( over a year ago )

My time at the Westshore Apartments was one of my favorites, let me list some of the advantages.

1. Great Location 2. Good Staff 3. Reasonably Quiet 4. Reasonable Rent

Now of course any appointment has some negatives.

1. Can be very noisy on the weekends. (Quest Nightclub is right next door) 2. Putting up with the panhandlers. (It was a rare day when I didn't have to turn down someone) 3. You have to put up with the festivals and parades and protests.

Sadly living here kinda soured me on living in the downtown core but my time at the westshore was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed my time here.

If you do move here make sure to try and pick an apartment facing Pine or 3rd Avenue because 2nd is rather noisy or choose one that that faces in rather than out.

If you can stand the typical low income housing downtown clientel then all in all not too bad a place to live, however the frequent vandalism, monthly fire alarms at 2:00 am in the morning, trashy people roaming the halls and hanging out outside, constantly broken down laundry facility, and hotel like studios leave something more to desire. There has to be better affordable housing downtown or near in than this! Doesn't there? Please say yes.
