Apartment Review for Cascade Summit Apartments

After living at Cascade Summit for nearly 1.5 years I can only say PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID!! Alaina was who helped us most of the time and to say the least their motto must be "Promise but don't deliver." I am a single mom, have two kids, and work full time. I wanted a nice area for my children which is why I chose the West Linn Area. However, From week one there were ants in the kitchen, my little girls room and the bathrooms. They initially blamed it on the past tennates and told us to go by some ant traps! After numerous calls their maintenance person finally dropped off some traps and he gave us the REAL story. That being the entire complex is infested with ants and they havn't been able to get it under control. So nice to know they initially LIED to us...And we had to get used to living with ants the entire time. We were exceptional renters, never late, scheduled our walkthrough upon moveout and was never contacted in any way afterwards. I had a forwarding address, they had our cell phone #'s from the getgo and they sent me to collections without ANY effort to let me know there was a balance due. I should have known what poor integrity Cascade Summit apartments had from the beginning. They DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU!! The last straw was the neigbors below us constantly smoking pot and it venting up to my apartment with my little girls! They management said they couldn't do anything and were less then helpful. So frustrating that people don't even know what customer service is these days!
