Review for Valley Park East-West Apartments

Worse apartment complex ever!!The management staff are incompetent and plain just nasty in particular the office manager Helen. Before you sign the lease she is the sweetest person in the world in order for you to get suckered into signing the lease, once you call the managing office with a problem then they show their true colors. It's like the Dr. Jeykl and Mr. Hyde staff. From the outside the complex appears to be a paradise but don't be fooled. Inside it's run down, lots of mold, hot water lasts less than 5 minutes, electric bill is really high ranges from $150 to $200 per month, walls and windows are in really bad shape, balconies are falling down, water is brown due to rusty pipes, a/c units appear to be more than 20 years old and useless, parking sucks, maintenance staff is constantly quiting, dirty pool, every so often you have a black out due to faulty electricity, washer and dryer can not be used, basement is always flooded with water, there are mice, roaches, storage is in the basement and due to the water and mold you possession are constantly getting damaged and/or people do not clean after their dogs. It so awful that tenants are constantly moving out. Inorder for you to get a renovated apartment you have to pay $150.00 extra a month and it's still not worth it. Migrants from NJ and NY feel the rent is a bargain compared to the rents in NY and NJ but it's not, other place around the area are way cheaper and some even include the heat. Very sad situation for the residents of Valley Park East and West
