The windows in this place leave you with extremely high electric bills in the winter and summer. Now lets deal with the stench that eminates from the basement. First if these basements were properly maintained there would be no problems. Due to the leakage of rain or snow when it melts in the basements and leaks through the brick walls is the real problem, not OUR STORAGE AREA'S. We pay astronomical rent for nothing so as it is and now you want to take the Storage Area's away saying it's the stuff stored in the basements that are causing the problem, when in fact if they had been maintained all along none of this would have happened. If you think by removing the storage areas this will solve your problems, and doing a one time clean up of the basements, your wrong. These basements need to be maintained on a yearly basis. When the managment was questioned concerning this, the option of using family members to store your belonging's was suggested. I do not feel it is right that I should have to impose on my family and cluter up their homes with my belongings, along with being told you can rent a storage space, WHY! So it cost me more on top of the outrageous fees being charged to live here. When we rented here the storage area was a main feature in attracting new people to move here. The apartments storage for closet space flat out "SUCKS". Till you put your clothing in them, there is no room for anything else. I know I am speaking for a lot of residents who live here. The next thing they will harp on will be the pets they allow, and guess we will have to put them in storage also. I really do look forward to the day my family moves from here, but talking with managment would just be a waste of my time and breath. SO IF YOUR INTERESTED IN FINDING AN APARTMENT, DON'T MOVE HERE, IT'S THE NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET.
