Wynmere Chase Luxury? No, but nice neighborhood ( over a year ago )

Reviewed by: Anonymous
Quiet neighborhood, I feel safe leaving the windows open. Off-street parking right in front of the door. Great place for kids! There’s some yard. Get a second floor space—if you’re on the ground floor, it sounds like a herd of elephants upstairs. You hear everything but voices. These are a far cry from luxury, though. Lots of closets, very little shelf space. The master BR is good sized, but second is small. Nice windowseat. Bathroom is tiny. Utility room is too tiny and set up stupidly—I can’t shake out a towel without cracking my elbow on the water heater! Barely enough room between W/D and water heater to pass. My W/D is unmatched and it took me two calls to maintenance to get the dryer working. Rest of appliances are cheap-dishwasher barely cleans, stove and fridge clean. My countertop is cracked and the sink is cheap, as are fixtures. Not even a sprayer in the sink! No closet in bath-too tight for anything. Very tiny medicine cabinet. Painful water pressure-I had to buy a new showerhead b/c installed shot out water so hard it soaked the ceiling! Takes forever for hot water and then it’s difficult to moderate. Maintenance has done a crappy job patching old holes and repainting, and more nail keep popping out! Bring your own shelving for pantry closet, which is deep, and earplugs.
I realize it’s been a lot of years since I’ve rented, but to call these luxury is truly false advertising. Spacious, yes. Luxury, hardly. The rent could be called ridiculous, except for the neighborhood. Still, it’s too high for what we get for the money.
