Review for Marquis Apts Apartments

Well, we just moved here in Sept. and have had a horrible experience. There was a fire in an apartment that occurred down the hall from us...sol, the firemen had to make sure everyone was out so they axed down some of our doors- this is understandable. The fire happened on Dec. 8 and it's three months later and we still have a big piece of plywood over our doors and using a padlock to get in and out of our place! I understand that the fire is unexpected, but its been 3 months and we still don't have a door. Management is horrible!! I've left messages for the manager and they never call you back. They have said since the day of the fire that the doors are being ordered, however we found out that they were just ordered two weeks ago. I never complain about anything but this is ridiculous. We are paying a lot of money for "luxury" apartments and it looks like we live in the ghetto! At least we should get some kind of compensation but nothing!

Dont' let the gym fool you either....the machines break down and it takes them forever to fix, the pool has been broken for two months,and the jacuzzi hasn't worked since we moved here 6 months ago. It takes them forever to fix an elevator. Please don't rent from here- it's not worth the money. I lived in Kingswood apart. for 4 years- never had a problem and Belmont Village for 3 years and never had a problem. I really blame the management and think something needs to be done about it.
