Apartment Review for Summit Trace Apartments

Postives: TONS of parking, walking distance to nice grocery store/strip mall, near Newtown <P>
Negatives: Where do I start?? ~Old fixtures, walls, appliances. Our window blinds constantly are falling or breaking. The oven burns anything you put in it. No garbage disposable. Mold in the shower. Nothing goes down the drain, including water. Windows are old and let everything come in. ~Maintenance is awful! Don't respond promptly nor do they fix the problem when they come. We have had our refrigerator break twice in less than a year. Both times, they gave us a key to another apt (across the lot) to put our food in (i.e. they didn't know what else to do). ~ANTS!!! TONS OF ANTS!!! And the exterminator only comes on Tuesdays apparently. But do they tell you this when you call every day. No. Their solution when they do get in touch with you - use Lysol. Works when they are on the ground...how about when they are in your bed??? ~The training equipment they have - you might be electricuted on all of them. Way old. ~Insultaiton/Noise problem. This experience is different from apartment to apartment. But my neighbors were extremely loud. Not only did they have a yippy dog that never shut up, but they also fought and beat on each other. Cops had to be called. Did the management care - nope! ~Management is anything but nice. They are a pain to deal with and one person in particular is the worst. Unfortunatly, they have gained the nickname Cruella from a few tenants. <P>
Moral of the story RUN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION! <P>
