Review for Forge Gate Apartments

Please, please do not waste your money or time. This place is such a hole in the wall. For the few positives, the apt's are pretty spacious, grounds are maintained well, snow removal good, and maintenance is good (at least when we were there). Thats about it. For the cons... Its so rediculously over priced its laughable for what you get. The buildings are older then dirt, the hallways smell and the carpeting is gross, the windows suck- You can literally feel a breeze when standing next to a closed one, you can hear the people in the other apts breathing, the walls and floors are so thin ( i used to be able to hear the guy above me snoring at night!), the pool charges extra if you want to bring in a friend (just sneak them in, thats what everyone else does), there are no washer and dryers in any of the units and about once a week if not more some moron manages to break a machine so you are down at least one machine a week if not more which takes on average about 2 weeks to repair, the management and the office employees consists of below average intelligence, and parking is a nightmare. Go elsewhere. For the price this run down apt building charges, you can rent townhouses or condos in the area for less and get soooo much more- just look in the newspapers (the reporter) under the classifieds. You will be much happier, trust me.
