Apartment Reviews for Wissahickon Apartments - Lansdale

I would say this place okay for the money. Ive lived here for 2 years now and have had some problems, but tolerable ones. We have looked at all the other places in Lansdale and compared to what we could spend this was by far the best. We pay $750 a month. The other places were small, had no closet space, and no amenities. Here, a little more room, okay closet space, ac, and heat is included. I think this place was the best for what we could afford. Maintenance is okay, they do come and fix things when you have a problem, occasionally its a crappie job, but major things they seem to be okay with. If you have a big problem with bugs like I do your probably going to freak out. Roaches and centipedes mostly but they come and exterminate I think once or twice a month and you probably wont see anymore for a least 6 months or so. The walls are pretty thin, you can hear the peoples tv above and below you. It does get annoying at times. I think it just mostly depends on your neighbors. The people below us have parties on weeknight but sometimes there gone for a week so thats nice. The people above us play polka music loud on Saturdays which is weird, but only during the day. If you get an apartment here dont get the middle floor, the top is probably best, that way you only have to hear one set of tv/parties. They plow in the winter but they do a bad job and youre expected to shovel your own parking space but no one does. The parking is good if you live near a big lot, but where we live there is no where to park after 10pm. We have to park in the big parking lot and walk, its a pain especially if you work late every night. Weve never really had any problems with the management as I hear some people have. But since the day weve moved in we have always gone out of our way to be nice to them and they do the same for us. Overall this place is okay; at times we cant wait to get out of here others are not so bad. Honestly if we could afford to spend more money we would probably go somewhere else. If you have my price range and are looking for a place in Lansdale then this one is best. <P>

I haven't lived here long, but so far its a great place. Only problem is loud kids outside at like 2am...but other than that it is great!
