Apartment Reviews for Village Of Pennbrook - Levittown

When I first called the place about some information they were very nice and i set up an appointment to see the place. When we got there the front was really cute but then the back of the development had updated siding that looks really tacky. They told me to come at 3pm and when i got there i had to wait 30 min until they were done with another couple. My husband and I met with Sue. She was so slow with everything and then after the tour she forgot our licenses and we had to drive back for them. On the phone they told me i could have a choice of 1st or 2nd floor for the cottage apt, but that was not true its only the first floor, the model looks good, but old kitchen. and i was also told that ALL apts have washer and dryer, that is not true and if you want them they are a $100 extra a month. Some front yards were nice while other were cluttered with dozens lawn ornaments, same thing with the shared backyards, some had a couple of chairs, while others had millions of gaudy things scattered. There looks to be a drainage problem in some areas,and water was pooling everywhere front sidewalk and backyards. The breezeways look like a good place to get mugged, no way am i doing laundry there. The two times that i was there the were cops driving through the complex, which i don't mind that but cops don't drive around for no reason that often!? I told Sue that we had to think about it for a couple of days. Meanwhile she called and left messages on my cell, my husbands cell, and the house phone everyday after the meeting. When I called a couple of days after to tell her that we wanted to take the apt, some one took a message because Sue was busy. Nobody has ever gotten back to me!!! But I think it was for the best b/c i read all the awful reviews this place got and there is no way i will move here!!!
