Overbrook Gardens Apartments is moments away from the scenic Morris Park and the conveniently located Overbrook SEPTA station. Just down the street on Lancaster Avenue are several eateries including Fuji Japanese Noodle House, Hunan Palace, and June Breakfast Restaurant - not to mention a handful of quick eats around the area like Papp's Pizza and Lincoln Fried Chicken. The neighborhood is also surrounded by excellent schools like Overbrook Elementary, Mann William B. School, and the Overbrook School for the Blind. Many tenants have been content with the apartment's affordable rent and have praised the building's beautiful architecture. Cottage Court is situated just off the I-95 and is moments away from the Frankford SEPTA station. Wissinoming Park, White Hall Commons, and Moss Playground are just a few of the many recreational areas where families can relax and enjoy the scenic views. There are multiple convenience stores in the area all under 2 miles away from the building, including Rite Aid, Walgreen's, Walmart, and CVS. Local go-to hot spots for dining out are Chink's Steaks for milkshakes and cheesesteaks, Chickie's & Pete's for mussels, and Grey Lodge Pub that has a great selection of beers on tap. Moments away is Germantown Avenue - lined with a variety of dining options that include Avenida, a Latin American restaurant known for an excellent brunch menu; Geechee Girl Rice Cafe, a Southern restaurant that serves up hearty country-style dishes; and McMenamin's Tavern, great for fish and chips and late-night fun. A tenant from 2002-2007 was displeased with the responsiveness of the maintenance and management staffs, however things may have changed and current tenants may be more satisfied. Krewstown Park Apartments resides on the periphery of Pennypack Park, which offers splendid views of the creek. The neighborhood has numerous facilities that provide activities for the whole family: the Insectarium is 3 miles away, the Abington Art Center holds a summer concert series and art classes, and the Morris Arboretum has beautiful landscape gardens and even celebrates the Cherry Blossom Festival. There are also several dining options in the area - all close to the building - including Macaroni's Restaurant, Kelly's Seafood, Las Margaritas, and Miller's Philadelphia Ale House.
