While at first glance, this building may appear to be a great place to live, the hassles are not worth it. The building is marketed as representing "luxury living" but there are constant issues which the management does not address.
There were regular false fire alarms. The elevators stopped working one evening last week. Several times there have been days without hot water for a shower in the morning.
The building needs to be better insulated.
The management promises solutions, but does not deliver. There is not 24 hour maintenance. Many broken promises, including a gym, which was never installed.
Exorbitant "common area charges"
My friend lives in a studio, and cannot open his only kitchen area drawer without first opening his refrigerator.
Parking is at a garage two and a half blocks away, at the "discounted" rate of almost 200 dollars a month.
You could do much better elsewhere. The door staff, though, is quite good.
