The building is nice. The management is generally responsive, but clearly focuses on the bottom line. They will nickle and dime you wherever possible. Security is very lax. You will not be able to get Comcast, and expect to pay $100 a month for 2001 quality internet and minimal satelite service (company named Hotwire resells Dish Network with an unjustified surcharge). If you are a Phillies fan, trust me, no more HD games. Also, rent increases are maxed out yearly.

Great building. Apartments are huge. Staff is nice and it's really quiet. The noise from the highway is a little loud at night if you're in a unit facing the courtyard. Would definitely live here again. Only downside is the price, it's a little high.

I am so happy with my 1 bedroom at 2100 Parkway. I think I looked at 20 or so different apartment buildings in the city and 2100 by far blew all of the others out of the water. I have a 1 bedroom on the south side of the building that I pay $1675/mth for and it is worth every penny. I looked at Edgewater and almost put a deposit down there but thought I would take a look here just to make sure. I wish I looked here first! I would have saved much more time!

Check it our for yourself. The courtyard and lobby alone will sell you.

Love the building, area, architecture, and layout. No complaints there.

However, the management company has not addressed any of the open items we "verbally" agreed to. These are small items like drywall and paint work that you would assume would be completed. Management was notified of this before lease signing and when arrived to sign lease it still had not been addressed. It has since been 3 weeks and management has only replied via email with "it will be completed." Nothing complete thus far.

Karen Archibald from Phila Mgmt manages building and is only contact I have been able to reach from Phila Mgmt in regards. I don't not think she offers a commendable service.

I would overall expect more service and response from mgmt when paying this type of rent.

We rented our 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath in June of '09. The apartment was never painted after the last renter left. The fridge stop working the first week, and it took a couple of days to get that fixed. On the second week we noticed mold in the washer/dryer closet and in master bedroom closet! MOLD! Lots of it! We called the office to get it fixed. It took 5 days before Serve Pro come out and took care of that. For 3 days we had to have heat fans blowing 24 hours a day (in the 90 degree weather) and had a tube running from the bedroom closet to the bathtub - dumping moldy water into the tub. (not fun to take a shower in) After Serve Pro cleared out, we were left with missing drywall in the bedroom, bedroom closet, the hall, and the washer/dryer closet. And the washer/dryer was not connected. It took a another several weeks of calling and emailing to get anyone to come in and drywall and connect the washer. By mid July the most of the drywall was up, but still unpainted. Fast forward - today is now Sept 30th and the work still is not completed. The drywall is not complete, missing floor boards in 2 spots, the bathroom towel bar fell off the wall, leaving two large holes, and unpainted and dirty walls through out the apartment! (did I mention the stainless fridge that has to scratched up doors for the previous owners dog??) I called ABC News Call for Action a few days ago and gave them the story. They called the leasing office and was told the work was being done that day. When Call For Action called me back I was surprised to hear that as no one told me. Of course when I got home that night no work was done! I have called and emailed the leasing office over and over again since the middle of June to get this done!! The apartments and building look great and the door staff for most part is very friendly, and its a great location, but if you are thinking of renting here do a walk through with the leasing agent and make sure your apartment is perfect before you move in.

I've lived here since the building opened about a year and a half ago and love everything about it! The views are great and its nice that everything is brand new (i only needed maintenance once to change my air filter). I lived at Edgewater prior and paid just as much as I do now. The constuction at 2100 is much more solid(I never hear my neighbors) and overall quality is an A+. I plan on upgrading to a larger apartment which is how i stumbled onto this site but after reading many other property reviews i think im just going to wait until a larger unit comes available here. Trust me this building is the best!
