I was a resident here for about 3 years prior to new management. Jay Cooperman is the invisible landlord, he does not return calls there is no way to contact him, he lives out of the city. He does not have an address a po box is where you send correspondences to him, he arbitrarily adds late fees and I had to monthly prove to him I paid my rent due to the shoddy bookkeepping he has under his managment, his maintenance guy, does not fix anything (painting isn't fixing), I complain he about my obnoxious neighbors and nothing has been done. He has this old tenant who names herself the property manager (Joyce), she is not bonded and she is not a licensed property manager. There are racoon traps all over the building site (which are not approved from the Humane Society) and the racoons have made their way into units. The back parking lot is a dumping ground for furniture and electronics. there is a mouse and rat infestation in the units, and the exterminator stated the rodents are breeding.
Someone was robbed at gunpoint in the hallway, Police officers have bee in and out of the site. Drug deals are conducted openly. The pretend property manager allowed a family member to clean out a tenant who was leaving apartment, of their electrical equipment, with an empty uhaul truck. Inconsiderate neighbors who are ignorant and basically for the rent he is requesting it has turned into public housing, and it is far cry from what I moved into in 2003. He has only had management of the building for one year. And this is the results after a year under his management. This site needs to be investigated and shut down.
