This Place Sucks

This community of three brick buildings best described as a cross between military barracks, government projects, and an old hotel is nestled between an oil refinery, car dump, airport, and a few highways. When I first moved in I found out my neighbors consisted of guy who constantly wore a bike helmet (and he didn't own a bike), a scary guy who we nicknamed "Skeletor", and an angry Jamaican woman who I think beat the one who wore the helmet. I used to hear "stop it! stop it" every night in the middle of the night (the walls a paper thin) My girlfriend was scared. One day a case worker came by and we never saw them again. We are also becoming very familiar with a tenant name "Norm". We became aware that he moved in because his wife screams his name every night. I can go on and on with stories about the people here so let me descibe the community's appearance. There is a mysterious dust on everything inside and outside of the apartment buildings. Golf balls fly over the 10 foot fence along fairway of the 6th hole of FDR's golf course. There is a gang of special needs people that mills around the complex who we dubbed as the wack pack (one of them threatened a friend and I). The fire alarms go on and off randomly. The washer and driers are terrible. I think someone used one of the driers as a restroom. God forbid if you want food delivered that isn't from a Chinese place that does laundry and sells pizzas. The maintenance people feed the stray cats to chase off the rats. A mouse fell out of our vent in the Kitchen, into the sink, and died because I guess the fall broke it's neck. A board that was nailed into the wall in my bedroom fell down one day and when I went to replace it I realized that you could see directly into the bathroom of the apartment below ours. That explained some of the mysterious odors. This place is depressing.
