Ok so lets start with this month. My car has been vandalized twice from right in front of the building. I've had half the dashboard replaced. The police are here every day arresting somebody from the building or the one across the street.
The fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night, and it's loud. There is no fire. The fire department arrives and leaves, yet the alarm is still going off. There is noone here from the building to turn the alarm off. The emergency phone number for maintainence has never worked.
In fact, there is never any management here. The rental office has it's own hours, 2 days a week. God forbid something arrives for me in the mail too large to fit into the tiny mailboxes, it gets dumped in the front office and I MAY retrieve it in a month. Although I have never been notified that a package has been left for me. I have to hope I randomly see said package on the desk of the rent office before I can ask for it. If i do ask for it I will get yelled at ebcause the management swears they never received any packages, even if the postal service has shown me her signed signature.
I moved here in August. In about October it started to get cold. When I turned my heat on, the electricity went off in my apartment, and still no heat. It took two days for the management to turn my electricity back on. Then it took more than two months for them to fix my heating. Had I not went out and bought an expensive space heater, I would surely have frozen.
I rate this apartment a 1 because I cannot rate it a 0. I urge you not to rent from here. There is a reason they are so eager for you to live here if you show any interest.
