Review for Mt. Pleasant Arms Apartments

The apaartment itsle was not bad. Althugh it was nothing special it was my first aparment and I wasnt expecting the Tajma Hall with the budget I had to work with. When I first rented the apartment, the management group was diffrent, so I had a pretty good expeirence. Thing would break but maintenence would fix it right away, and they were always onsite. If I had a problem with my billing I was able to get courteous treatment and an answer to my question immediately. When the management company switched to the Galman group everything went downhill. Mantience never came, the office staff was horrible, and it became a nightmare. My final straw was when the sent a letter to increase the rent and add a utility bill all in the same year. No new reparis were done heating problems galore and the same old ugly carpet with a burnt spot in the middle of the floor. When I went to get my security deposit back after receiving their ok saying that I had no issues, the returned $75.00 back to me out of the $715.00 that was givin to them in the begining. After continuious calls the gave an additional $75.00 almost 6 months later and I just gave up as it didnt seem worth the fight. Please look around. Great neighboorhood but you can find someting better with less aggrivation.
