Seems like the once premiere apartment building is on the way out. There have been various signs that the owner is suffering financially. This past summer, we were frequently banned from using the roof top terrace. The management was renting out the space for non resident functions that often began at 3pm and lasted till 11pm. The owner runs the The Phoenix Spa and Salon which is located in the mezzanine area separate from the building lobby. It appears to be a very upscale salon. Most recently the Salon has placed a large billboard sign on the sidewalk of Arch street. How inappropriate, what he should do is hire someone to wear one of those billboard body signs, and have them parade up and down Arch street yelling out-prices slashed $100 cuts now $75. To top this off, he has now placed a display case in the lobby, directly across from the concierge desk. The case lights up with florescent bulbs and features The salon's products. I suggest he start selling hotdogs and soft pretzels in the lobby. In case you have not heard, the building celebrity resident, a local TV newscaster, has made a quick exodus as well
