Apartment Reviews for Campus Apartments - Philadelphia

I am now a resident of campaus apartments in Philly. I must say that it is the worst place that I have stayed ever. The maintenance crew are not responsive. There are so many mice in our apartment. When we moved in, they did not care to clean the apartment. There was a big broken sofa in our living room. There were a lot of trash in the apartment and below our windows. We started paying the rent on Sept. 1 and only moved in late Sept. I asked them whether the apartment was clean. I was contantly assured that everything would be fine. What a huge shock to find that there were so much trash in our supposedly clean apartment.

In addition, the officers are really not professional. We have to call them repeatedly in order to have the smallest things fixed. They promised to fix the kitch floor, which is broken, last April, but still nothing has happended. We have to ask them so many times. Now they say that they are coming, but I am not quite sure if they are going to keep their promise. Also, the wood floor has not been polished/replaced for years.

It is such a shame that our apartment building was awarded the best apartment in 2007. If you have any choice, I think it is wise not to choose campaus apartments.

We still have to endure to stay here for sometime because we were cheated in paying so much deposits ( two months rents plus other fees). Campus apartments charge much higher than other places because they claim that they are better at maintenance, but that it is not the case, from our experience.

There is a lot of noise here during weekends and at nights, but campus apartments has taken no actions so far.

I would ask my friends and others not to choose campus apartments in the future.
