Positive Apartment Reviews and RatingsSome good, some bad. ( over a year ago )
Reviewed by: Anonymous
This place isn't bad, and the maintenance people and front desk people are very friendly. I had a problem with one of my appliances shortly after moving in, and they took care of it quickly and professionally. I also feel safe in the building, since it is monitored all the time, by cameras and front desk people.
The main problem with this building is the noise. There are a lot of students living here, and students like to make lots of noise. I often work at home, and this was a major problem for me. One of the apartments adjacent to mine eminated bass so powerful that it would shake my fixtures.
There were some minor problems: the elevators broke down regularly, the water was shut off all day a couple times (usually I was at work though), and there are a lot of weirdos that hang around this neighborhood. None of these bothered me that much, and are about on par with other Philadelphia buildings I am familiar with.
If it wasn't for the noise problem, I think this would be a great place to live.
