Review for The Newport Apartments

Please don't be fooled by the location, the nice facade or the lobby of the building. This is no indication of what the inside of the apartments look like. I just can't wait for my lease to end. The apartments are run-down, old and outdated inside. The apartments are virtually "bare bones" apartments. The only saving grace of the apartment was the super, Doug who was pretty responsive to most requests....except the MICE. We had an incessant mouse problem and Doug did as much as he could but he couldn't control the problem. During one stretch of time we caught about 6-7 mice in a two week peroid. It was purely disgusting. We were not alone with this problem as SEVERAL other tenants complained of the same problem.

If you're considering this apartment please re-consider. I've attempted to write this review with as much neutrality as possible, but the building simply cannot overcome many of the problems I've stated. But, if you prefer to live in an outdate, rodent infested apartment, this place may be for you.
