This was the first time i rented apartment on my own and I had a terrible experience. First of all their advertisement says: STUDIIO, ALL UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED. After living there for 4 months I got a letter from electric company saying that my light will be shut off because I did not pay my bill. After calling the office for 3 days!!!! I finally speak to the person and she told me that electric wasnt' included in rent. That was a big surprise for me, because that was the main reason I rented this place because all utilities were included. When I moved in I did apartment inspection, mark everything on a piece a paper they gave me and sent to the office. Then told me everything that was wrong will be fix, but maintanance guy never shows up for the entire 7 months i lived there. The dumster outside was always full and because it was summer it smells so bad, so you can't even open your windows. When Meredith shows me this apt, she told me there is a parking space on a back and I can park on any available space. But other tenants told me that they are paying $40 a months to have assign space and all parking spaces are taking. After all those problems I decided to move out. They sent me a notice to go to magistrate, but when I told them that I have a copy of their advertisement, pictures of apt on the day I moved in and pictures of dumster outside they just did not shows up at the magistrate and return my deposit. O, I forgot to say that if you have a pet you have to pay $250 NON REFUNDABLE deposit AND $25 each month for a pet. Other landords only charge you either: pet doposit or pet fee, but not both.
