Review for Lobos Management Apartments

Be warned, if you rent with Lobos, you WILL NOT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK WITHOUT GOING TO COURT.
There, believe that.
Went to look at Sandy Creek apartments in Bethel Park. Apartment on 1st floor was vacuumed but there were dead roaches in the bathtub, rust on the windows, SOMETHING orange running/dripping down the side of the oven. The agent asked me for a security deposit, "just to hold the apartment". Told me I could post date the check and he wouldn't even cash it until he heard from me. You guessed it, they cashed it the very next day before I told them I wanted the apartment. (I called him the next day to decline the apartment and he told me he'd mail my original check back to me!)
This was at the end of Sept and I am still fighting to get it back. A friend of mine actually signed a lease after this huge warning and has been living with no hot water for a week and counting after there was a leak in one of the buildings that caused the floor in her kitchen to buckle.
Avoid this place at all costs, or at least google Lobos (Ripoff report is a great site with good info).

I have no idea how they are still in business, payoffs most likely.
