McKee Pl Apartments have just been bought by someone else and are under new management. I hope that the new management makes some drastic improvements! My experience there was horrible. Our place was extremely small and the floors were on a slope. The shower leaked from behind the wall and caused mold to grow persistently on the wall of our shower. I filed several reports and nothing was ever done. Our roof leaked (and we weren't even on the top floor!). The walls were extremely thin and every weekend, music and parties would keep you up until 2:00 or 3:00 am. So there was no sleeping on weekends. The maintenance men were creepy and one of them started stalking me. And the security was terrible!! My apartment was broken into and my lap top was stolen, I witnessed a mugging just out front of my place, and the lock on our front door was broken for months before management would finally fix it. Also, when we were moving out of our place last August, our lease was up at the very end of the month, but they wanted us to move out the first week (so the new tenants could move in early), but they demanded that we pay for the whole month. It was bullshit. The whole experience was terrible and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. You can find so much better for the prices that they ask.
