I have to admit I too reviewed this company before I decided to rent with them. I did notice many positive postings as well as some negative ones. I thought, well how many people are seriously going to say, you know what, I love this Landlord so much, I'm going to go and write about how much I love them. And the fact is, people actually have done that, or there wouldnt be these good postings. I felt I had to do same to keep the trend going (pardon the pun). I've been living in Dormont for nearly 3 years now at a building on Mervin Avenue, and for what it is, its excellent. This is a well priced apartment in an excellent location. A block from the T and my job is downtown. I dont expect a bellman or valet in this area and as long as your expectations are normal, you will have a great experience with Trends. I have needed them many times and they have been there for me. The building is safe, cleaned regularly and I cant expect much more for $495 a month plus electric, with FREE HEAT!! I will stay here for as long as I live in Pittsburgh. I'm happy with them and think anyone whose expectations are normal will be as well.
