Thank you to whomever posted the Health Dept contact #. I was not sure recourse I had with regard to what organization I should contact with the lack of heat issue. I have experienced the same thing. I have been promised several different dates that heat would be turned on at my property...however that never happened. It was mild the last couple weeks so I didn't follow-up with Trends or notice the heat had not been turned on...of course I didn't think it was my responsibility to be sure the landlord does their job. I left what was my 4th or 5th message with their answering service and decided to ask if anyone else was calling with the same issue. The lady very sympathetically told me "all the time....they call all the time about the heat". To support the other posters point, last fall it took 3-4 weeks of calling JLB (their name at the time) to get the heat turned on.
