The most unpleasant building I have ever lived in. Maintenance was non-existent, the building itself was filthy and run down, dirty stairwells, old smelly carpet, duct tape repairs (damage to our walls was patched with duct tape) AND NO PARKING AVAILABLE ANYMORE, Union lost their lease at the adjacent garage. Noise is a big problem as well, the helipad for the hospital is right next to the building with helicopters coming in at all hours.
We found the same size apartment in the Kennilworth for less rent that includes all utilities, laundry on every floor, air conditioners provided, A GOOD SECURITY SYSTEM plus a really good Chinese restaurant off the lobby that offers residents a discount. You can tell that the Coronado must have been a beautiful building at one time, but Union Real Estate has let it go to pot.
