After reading all of the other reviews I thought it would be good for me to add yet ANOTHER negative comment about Zytnick. I agree with everyone else that this family is very rude and difficult to deal with. We had our water shut off for three days straight and everytime I called to inquire about it Mr. Zytnick hung up on me and also threatened to call the police. Ummm, you are the landlord, and we do have a right to ask when we are going to have running water again. On top of everything else the walkway is falling apart and has been for the three years I have been here. Although these are nice sized apartments, think about the crap you have to deal with when it comes to requesting anything you might need or want for your place. Its definately not worth it. I treated them about as rudely as they treated me and what did I get for it?? They are not renewing my lease......DONT DO IT!!!

I lived in the Hidden Pines apartments in Swissvale. The apartment itself wasn't so bad. The one problem I did have is that I would come home and find 2-3 inch long centipedes on my walls or crawling across my floors. That terrified me. When I mentioned it to the landlord all he had to say was "well you do live in the woods" Mr. Zytnick has to be one of the meanest people I've ever met. he is so inconsiderate and he tends to talk at you instead of to you. I have had a few issues with maintenance men not coming to fix things in a timely manner. I also had an issue with being locked out of my apartment after hours and Mr. Zytnick told me that it wasn't a big deal and no one could let me in. So I had to call a locksmith to come open my door for me. This past winter was ****. They plowed the parking lot but did not plow behind the one building so I along with other neighbors spent 3 hours digging our cars out and their excuse was that the guy driving the truck didn't want to get stuck. Overall, I would not recommend anyone rent from these people simply because of the way they treat people. They are extremely rude.

ok, here's my story. i've lived here going on about 5-6 years. haha i forget. i pay 510 a month. three years ago it was 485 a month. but not bad for the size of the apartments. i have had some ups, and again some downs. when i first moved into the 900 park ave building it was quieter, more maintained and the tenants were friendly. Now, well, not so much. it's like a frat house now. and more kids. although not all the kids are annoying. not my nextdoor neighbors anyway. I have recently had a disaster in my apartment and they have taken care of the issue...finally. it's too long of a story to tell so just know this, it had to do with a drain, large rocks, kids and no supervision. and a big ol' mess, or flood, in my apartment!! took time to calm from this at first but recently things have turned around. the landlord is fixing the issue and unhappy with the events that took place i am sure. not to mention the money that it is costing him to pay the plumbers overtime and the digging and relaying of drain pipe thats taking place as we speak. the landlord has offered to relocate me to pebble creek for my trouble, with a couple perks offered out. i may concider. this makes me happy. =) now, the "none" plowing of the lots this past winter was ****. the tenants had to dig themselves out for one. hard work!! but i did here that the one plow broke it's axel rod and they were up a creek with that...and 5 buildings to clear...with one truck. what can you do? but still, do what you can to help your tenants. call the boro, something. what else...? oh, ive needed a new frig for, oh i dont know, 6 months. it's freezing everything and they say it's fine. it's not fine. it's almost in an off setting and is freezing everything. a frig shouldn't freeze eggs, milk, veggies, ect ect. it's a frig...NOT a freezer. good rule of thumb, get your tenants frost free appliances. spend a little money! =( this isn't 1960. what's up with the green stove and frig?? ok, i don't enjoy the unsupervised kids that run around your cars and leave the front of your building wide open. not to mention they stick rocks in your sewer garte and flood out your apartment. well, mine atleast. watch your children!!!!!!! i don't like the fact that you can hear peoples conversations...walking at all hours of the night. voices, tvs and radios. nobody seems to care what time it is. thin walls people. thin walls. i once listen to the girl above me have sex four time, in one night!! jesus! now, what good things can i say about zytnick realty, 900 park ave in west mifflin? these apartments are BEAUTIFUL!! i don't know about everyone elses but i have a corner apartment and a sunken in dining, kitchen and master with bathroom and oh my, sweet! large rooms. lots of light. been here 4 1/2 years. i liked being on the bottom floor until the flood occured. love having a dish washer, air and it all being electric. they pay water and sewage for you. it was clean when i moved in. still is because i am a clean freak. whoever moves in here after me IS getting a nice place. just be aware of the flood that occured. carpets SHOULD be replaced. not happening while i'm here...i know this! but they should be after i am gone =) keep in mind if you are renting a bottom floor, corner apartment with blue carpet. i think the property looked nicer a few years ago, not recently though. pop cans are always in the grass. candy wrappers. kids i'm sure. cig butts in the lawn and on the stoop. kids always playing outside your windows. parking was never an issue until recently as well. i have NO IDEA why. the office staff is a bit different now. charlene is wonderful to deal with =) love her! (hope i spelled her name right) sheldon is willing to work with you. good guy. there's one grumpy old son of a gun although i don't know his name. *sigh* i don't know. i love this place...then i hate it. haha...enjoy.

This is a great complex in outskirts of Pittsburgh on the trolley line. I am VERY impressed with parking, maintenance and size of apartments. Very quiet and low utility bills. Beautiful green area but easy to get to downtown. Would definately reccomend living here.
