Review for Charbonneau Apartments

Pros: 1. Close to everything. 2. Office staff always smiling. 3. Quieter than you would expect. 4. Beautiful trees and layout.

Cons: 1. MAINTENANCE ISSUES... SLOW RESPONSE TIME !!! 2. Animals in walls that will wake you up... they become your unwanted pets 3. Poor lighting of parking lots 4. Ultra Slow maintenace response time to any need.. small or big 5. Poor internal condition of exsting units--even at possession of unit.. Fixed most items myself.. even added my own lights in the stairways 6. ELECTRIC BILL THROUGH THE ROOF ... Unit power bills $161 April 07 and $190 May 07.. for 1100 sqare foot... WATCH OUT !! Needs effecient A/C and better unit insulation 7. Loft units Bedroom ... 80+ degree upstairs temp with A/C unit on continousy through the day time.. Its fun to sleep and sweat !! 8. Poor landscaping maintenance trash around lake .. kinda SNAKEY !!

I am a basic person...all I want is a place to come in to eat and lay down my head to sleep.. Sometimes visting friends and children tell you like it really is.

Imagine walking your children up 2 or more flights of steps with no lights to guide you for 5 days in a row .. and MAINTENANCE telling you it will be fixed when they get to it in a couple of days... I now carry a flashlight in my car not only for road saftey but to walk up steps to my apartment when needed.

I BELIVE THE STAFF ... MANDI ESPECIALLY... REALLY wants to CARE... I THINK THIS PROPERTY NEEDS A M A J O R MAKEOVER... This will fix alot of the major issues. I hope the owners read this and LISTEN !!

Most places I have found in columbia recently are renovating their units and are putting in updated appliances, safety measures and staffing with decent maintenace people.. They are working real hard for your rental dollar.. look for the ones who have your COMFORT, SAFETY and WELL BEING In MIND..Look for MAINTENCE PEOPLE DOING THEIR JOB SO YOU DON"T HAVE TOO !!

Moving to a new apartment within 1 mile of here... THEY HAVE THEIR STUFF TOGETHER... Hopefully this complex will soon too.. It is a beautiful setting .. I stayed this long because of Mandi and her awsome personality... If I ever win the lottery I will be recruiting Mandi
