Review for Deer Meadow Village Apartments

Could not agree more with the previous poster. They hype this up as a gated community and the gate has worked for not even an 1/8 of the time that we have lived there. It works for a day and then breaks and then it's another week before it is fixed. Gated Community my a**. Besides, people sneak in anyways. They go through the out gate or just follow another car through. I have had numerous cars right on my tail just to get through the gate. People sit by the gates and wait for someone to come into the complex and use their card and then they just follow them through. Oh and be careful coming out the out gate because they like to go through there at 50 MPH as well since they can't get in the in gate. Parking SUCKS. They need assigned parking. These little 18 year-old brats always have their friends over that park in the road and take up the spots so the residents that actually pay to live there have to walk to their cars in the morning. Residents that live in the back of buildings will park their cars by our building because they are too lazy to walk a few extra feet. This is not fair to those of us that actually live in the building and have to walk farther because they take up our spots. The trash compacter is a joke. Some residents are so lazy that they just leave their trash in piles near there. It's a complete mess. The theater has never been used. The carport is exactly as previously posted. You cannot use it. The pool is nice, but is often overrun with people that we swear come from Austin Woods. They are very intimidating for us residents. Everything in the apartment was made so cheaply it's not even funny. You literally cannot even wash stains of your walls without the paint coming off. These apartments will fall apart in a few years and we certainly will not be living there then to see it. The office staff is a joke. They have already changed since we moved in and they have no clue what's going on. They came in our apartment one day to see if it was even occupied. Oh and the dog poop thing previously reported is totally true, but that is because immature and irresponsible people cannot clean up after themselves. The mail is an utter joke. If you have your mail by 3:00 p.m. consider yourself lucky. Don't ever except to get an important package in a timely fashion either. They will notify you two weeks later that it's been sitting there, if they even notify you. I could go on and on, but this has already been long enough. Just be smart and don't even think twice about this "brand new gated community."
