Review for Gable Hill Apartments

Looks really can be deceiving. I am actually a newcomer to the Columbia area and didn't know enough about the area to make a good selection. My goal at the time was to get into an area that was convenient in which to travel to and fro work for a good price. Thus, since I moved here for a job I knew I had to report to work in the quickly approaching days ahead. Well I picked this community because I wanted to get things over and done, so I could go to work. In any case, to make a long story short the staff at this community does not keep their word in the least. All they do is grab the money for rent each month and they fix NOTHING! The doors aren't thoroughly insulated, which makes for a costly electric bill, the wood on the balcony is rotting as we speak, the airconditioning unit area looks like it hadn't been cleaned in years, which makes for a real health hazard, and the carpet smells as though a cat pissed all over it! If you think this is bad try contacting the regional manager who has a nastier attitude than the so-called managers on-site. All I can say is if you can do your research before moving to any city on which apartments has good ratings because you want to avoid this kind of situation at all costs. I guess you really do get what you pay for; I cannot wait until my lease ends!
