Apartment Review for Deer Meadow Village

The appearance and the office staff make you think upon visiting that you won't find a better apartment, but I advise you to keep looking, you can definitely do better. I lived here for 8 months, but it was the worst service for an apartment complex that I have ever received. Good luck with getting things fixed because that will only happen at the convenience of maintainence and most of them don't know what they are doing. It literally takes days to get anything done. Phone calls to management or any office staff are never answered, you usually end up going to the office and being told that it was written down and will be handled. You will make that trip more than once. If you are a professional looking for a quiet neighborhood, this isn't it and there's no enforcement on noise. You pay for a gated community, but the gates are never working and there's no reduction in your rent either. Staff turnover is ridiculous, you can't get to know anyone in the office as they are only there 1-2 months. Lastly, while I was current on my rent, had provided proper move-out notification, and had completed all the proper paperwork, the office filed my information with a collections agency while I was still a resident at the apartment....do you want to deal with that?
