I dont know where these people that wrote bad stuff on here live, but its not the same place that i live. they must owe money or were one of the people charged for littering! I have lived at Deer Meadow apartments for almost two years now and I must say, that staff has turned over alot. There were alot of issues last year with loitering and trash and we did not have an security oficer. The new staff that came at the first of the year have done wonders in my opinion. there is rarely trash outside of the compactor and when it is, its where some slob that lives here was too lazy to put it in the trash bin. i have had several conversations with the security officer, very kind man. i see him patrolling and walking the complex and breaking up any loitering or rule breakers. the apartments are beautiful, the staff has parties and socials where they serve food and snaks and have drawing for prizes. they are alway professional and friendly and know what they are doin! the maintenance men are always hustlin and bustlin throughout the day and even brout my pakage from the office for me. i have lived in apartmens my whole life and this is the best place I have ever lived and the best people working here that i hvae seen yet.

I have lived here since 2006. The apartments were poorly constructed. (Walls are not straight, Siding flies in the wind, Rain comes up to the door. ) The office staff is ghetto to say the least. They are hardly ever doing the jobs they are paid to do. I feel that the price is more than it should be. Apartments do not have normal apartment storage. No linen closets, no outdoor storage other than bedroom closets. Only one small vanity in each bathroom. The second lease came with an increase of $66 more a month. Apartment companies are raising rates as foreclosures in the area increase.

My Daughter has lived ther for 2-months. The entry door was broken and very unsafe when she moved in.... The maintenance personnel cannot fix the door - they have tried - but oh-my... the lady who is suppose to be the head maintenance person will argue with the manager of the complex. Everytime they come to fix the door, something elas is messed up...paint on new carpet, etc. I am very dissatisfied with the maintenance....
Also, the "Gated Entrance" - that's a joke. The type of people living there will do everything possible to bypass the gated entrance system. Oh, by the way, it's been broken for weeks...
Regarding my recommendation to someone else.... I might recommend it with reservation...!

The people that live here are lazy and park in the handicap spots and on the sidewalks and in front of fire hydrants on a DAILY basis. The management has done NOTHING to stop this. No letters to the tenants, no warnings, nothing! Getting out in the morning is like driving a maze trying to not hit a car coming around the stop sign where three cars sit every morning. People leave their dog poop everywhere and the management is NEVER visible to try to deter this either. The management is extremely lazy and seem to have no concern for these issues or any other issues for that matter! I've had packages at the office for MONTHS and no one alerts us that they are there.

I moved into Deer Meadow Village in August. The staff are very personable and I always get quick,courteous care when I go into the office. The apartment is almost the same square footage as my sister's home and double the size of the apartment I lived in Chicago. The grounds are kept in excellent condition and my neighbors are friendly and quiet!! There are some problems with the front gates not working and parking. I enjoy working out in the fitness center and watching movies in the theater. I must say that it's been good so far!!
