Apartment Review for Tamarind At Stoneridge

The tamarind is an older apartment complex that looks appealing on the outside, but needs serious help on the inside of the building. I've lived in these apartments for almost a year and have had nothing but problems. For example, roaches....no matter how clean my apartment is or how many times I have it sprayed they are still in my apartment. Mainly due to the old windows that have cracks in the glass and screens and give them a place to constantly craw in. Maintenance is terrible I can't believe they pay those men. Not only does it take months to fix something...they don't fix it right. For example, I have chips in the bath tub and sink. Instead of repairing these chips correctly the maitenance man decided to use paint and paint over the chips. Now everytime I shower I have to clean up the wall paint that wasnt meant to go in a bathtub. Look closely at that bath tub in their model apartment and see what I mean. Also, the man was drunk while completing my repairs. Have fun dealing with the managers in the office...they seem nice , but talk to them after you moved in and they have a bad attitude..especially the Blonde. If you move here get renters insurance.....water damaged my things from severe leaks in the roof.....I reported leaks in the roof months ago but nothing was done until my stuff was damaged....now they are finally putting on a new roof. If you can put up with mold, water damage and roaches than this is the place for you...otherwise run and don't look back! <P>
